Sunny is a SUPER athletic, big, beautiful, and lovable girl and an AWESOME partner for beginner/intermediate riders (75-200 lbs.) for lower level dressage (Training/First Level), eventing (up to 2’3”), and/or trail riding. She is a VERY reliable and steady at shows and on trails, and a dream to handle on the ground (to bathe, clip, trim feet, load, etc.)
Since arriving to HMEC in 2011, Sunny has taught children, adult riders, and senior citizens in lessons, camps, and pony club activities (like mounted meetings, un-mounted meetings, and Regional Rallies). She has happily helped several pony clubbers get their D3 ratings! Sunny is for sale as we now have either young riders who need ponies, or more experienced riders wanting to jump 2'6"/3'.
NOTE: while she is a rather large draft cross, Sunny does best with riders under 200 lbs. due to the conformation of her back. She is up to date on all shots, deworming, and dental. Sunny has no vices and has been a very sound and reliable lesson horse (barefoot!) since arriving in 2011.
While she will miss her students and pony clubbers, Sunny is looking forward to meeting her new owner, friend, and rider!
